CONSULAR POST OF THE KINGDOM OF SWEDEN

PLEASE NOTE

 

As of May 15, 2014, The Kingdom of Sweden will be introducing the VIS system which requires every applicant to visit an Embassy to submit their biometric information when making an application for Schengen Visa.  As such the Consulate General for Sweden in Jamaica will no longer be accepting applications for Schengen Visas to visit Sweden for business or conference/seminars, family/friends visits or tourist/vacations, only applications for resident/work permit.

 

Persons wishing to make such an application will have to visit the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC, USA, Bogotá, Columbia or  Havana, Cuba.

The Consular Corps of Jamaica

 The Consular Corps of Jamaica is a body whose members consist of Honorary Consuls ,Honorary Consul Generals, Honorary Vice Consuls and Career Consuls accredited to Jamaica. The objects of the Corps is to promote and maintain harmonious relations on all matters of common interest and to secure solidarity of representation and sympathetic corporation viz-a-via all authorities and organisations that may be brought into relation with the Corps.
